People today speak of the blogosphere as a collective term of bloggers. The blogosphere, even though it is spread across the world, can be considered as social network in itself or a community where people are inspired by each other and share information and views.

Technorati is not the voice of blogging authority that it once was, but each year the advertising network publishes a report that is required reading for internet marketers. However brands are spending 57% of their social budgets on Facebook and only six per cent on blogs.
