Because of its original simple use (communication!) and its restricted access, people had no need to use any other names on the Mark Zuckerberg-created social network. It’s how social networks are intended to be used. Community Pages are the most annoying thing Facebook has given us , but I see their point.

Both wanted to create a Facebook community to connect users to each other. Colleges have Resident Assistants who adhere to the same rules as the students, and they live among their students so they’re very much part of that community. Sometimes mods make mistakes.
