I am fascinated by the amount of social networks that I’m part of, but better yet, I’m intrigued to find that I assume different “personas,&# at least in terms of choosing friends (and using the networks), on each social site.

I like Seesmic for Windows, but coming from Seesmic Desktop, there are some kinks (which I expressed months ago on the Seesmic Forum powered by UserVoice) that need to be worked out, such as the ability to copy and paste and the fact that Seesmic for Windows doesn’t have sounds. I’ve had two Twitter accounts for over a year now.

That’s to say that if you use a public forum to insult, attack, or demean others on your personal time, you may find that impacting your company by association. If you blog or post comments, you should make sure it adheres to your company’s social media policy. At least not for me. Just my 2 cents.
