Share Stories with Friends Another way to spread awareness among your social graph is to share links to blog posts and news articles via sites like Twitter, Facebook, Delicious, Digg, and even through email. Mashable’s Summer of Social Good campaign, for example, has a widget that does both.

You get short codes, widgets and metrics. Vimeo : Sure, I could use YouTube. But my use of video these days is largely for my private community, so I want more control of branding and private embedding. Vimeo is awesome for that purpose. Community Management, Customer Service and Internal Communication.

If you don’t want to change the backend though, you can simply use a widget for your category dropdown and change the name to topics, that way it displays on the sidebar as such. It just depends on the site and the community! Answer: I haven’t looked into that, but I’m sure there are.

Speaking of clever, the next one is Clever Widgets. This is something I remember I’m sure I’ve asked Mario before, I’m just like, “Mario, I wanna put this widget in this area but I only want it to show when people are looking at this category. What I’m really asking for is conditional widgets. How do we do that?”.
