I was pleased to see that Compete responded, multiple times — in a comment on my post; via a tweet and then subsequently in email. Given the interest I saw from other people, I obtained Compete’s permission to publish our exchange. Compete is based on a sample of 2 million, US based panelists. At the core the methodologies are like comparing apples to oranges, they’re both fruit – just produced from different trees.
