It took Apple more than two hours to show the world what technology will look like for the next short while. We have the iPhone 7 , headphones without cables ( AirPods ), an updated Apple Watc h (hello, GPS and water resistant!) Personally, I'm waiting on the next generation of Apple laptops (guess that will be coming shortly?).

" If you can get beyond the marketing jargon, WiFiSLAM is, essentially, GPS for the indoors. This is more than a defensive move for Apple. This is exciting times.

Along with the slew of customer service gaffs we've seen businesses go through in the past five years, this has forced brands to become (somewhat) social. Through mobile (which are GPS-enabled) and other innovations, there will be a much bigger push to deliver services to the consumer where they physically are in much more effective ways.
