Sentiment: How much are you willing to automate verse check by hand? To be fair, I’ve only included those I’ve actually used (Radian6, Sysomos, Spiral 16) or tested (Meltwater, SM2). I'm currently using SM2 for most of my clients, and like how easy it is to use. In other words, how accurate does it need to be?

I mirror your sentiments. There are free and inexpensive tools that do just about the same thing Google Analytics can do, except that GA also shows bounce rate. And then there are monitoring tools like Alterian's SM2 that are out of most people's price ranges.
