With Google Analytics I can see if people are engaging with our blog’s content and then use that information to adapt to the preferences of site visitors. My favorite thing to do in the morning is check Google Analytics to see where our site visitors are coming from. So pitching the merits of going paperless was a no-brainer.

SAS provides all of its tools free to universities [link] -- and there is no better analytical tool on the marketplace. At the undergraduate level, I dont think proprietary tools or metrics is the issue at all. Until the industry invests more thought, time and training to the subject, we will not solve any of the really big issues.
