You may have heard that Facebook Analytics is going away after June 30, 2021. There are many great uses for Facebook Analytics, and I’m bummed it’s going away. Unless Facebook adds it, you’ll no longer be able to create these once Facebook Analytics goes away. Go to Facebook Analytics. Not this time.

Until Apple’s ATT privacy prompt goes live — and probably weeks or months thereafter — we really don’t know how much this will impact us. The impact of opt-outs from tracking will be felt here, resulting in shrinking custom audiences and events reported. You can find this in Facebook Analytics.

Dark social media, or dark traffic, isn’t easily tracked by traditional analytics tools. Dark social sources often can’t be measured because they’re private, like an email, or because analytics software can’t accurately categorize them — either because the source is hidden, or the link doesn’t have UTM parameters. From the drop-down menu, select “ Settings & privacy ” and then choose “ Settings.” Step 2: Once on your “Settings” dashboard, click on the “ Privacy ” button from the left-hand panel of the screen.
