The Radian6 deal says a lot about interest in social CRM, or the integration of social media monitoring and customer relationship management. Social business software companies Jive and Lithium have picked up their own listening platforms. Nobody else does the one-stop social media shop like they do.

But there are still plenty of PR firms (and companies, for that matter) looking at social media purely as a distribution vehicle. There are free and inexpensive tools that do just about the same thing Google Analytics can do, except that GA also shows bounce rate. What do you think?

That said, they also have the option of assisting users in set up as it is more cost effective for them to work with the data analytics team determining objectives.
