15 Dec Ignite Social Media Award-Winning Work of 2016
It’s been almost 20 years since social media came to existence. While it took some time to really take off, social media users currently spend an average of two hours a day on social sites according to GlobalWebIndex. What’s more, they’re also using more networks, an average of 7 social networks to be precise. This rise in activity has brought so many brands to understand the value of social media marketing, leading them to work with agencies such as ourselves. So we’d like to take some time to stop and look at some of our agency’s award-winning work of 2016, and the impact we were able to make for our clients.
2016 Social Agency of the Year
Although we were founded in 2007, it took some time before people began to recognize who we were. Nine years later, Ignite Social Media was awarded Social Agency of the Year by Incite Group’s Corporate Social Media Awards. All good things take time, and that’s exactly how we came to get this award. There are a few key attributes that we believe led to our success:
- We have an amazing women-led leadership team that pushes our team to achieve great things every day
- We have a fantastic, dedicated team that always goes above and beyond for our clients
- We’ve been privileged to work with some of the worlds greatest brands
- Our agency takes an annual Mystery Trip, just to keep us on our toes
But enough about ourselves, let’s get to our award-winning client work of 2016.
Go Red For Women: Red Dress Collection
W3 Awards Silver for Social Content & Marketing – Events
Go Red For Women, a well-known division of the American Heart Association, partnered with Ignite Social Media and our sister company, Carusele, to create a campaign that would spread awareness of the brand’s key messaging and drive audiences to view the annual Red Dress Collection live stream at New York Fashion Week. We sent a team to the event, and as the show began we were able to capture incredible images from the celebrities’ entry-point onto the runway, creating an incredible experience for Go Red For Women’s followers. Our nimble approach allowed us to prioritize special moments, create our own opportunities for capturing and editing photography, and accentuate the show’s impact.
World Kitchen: #Pyrex100
W3 Awards Silver for Marketing in Social Media – Consumer Goods
Pyrex, a World Kitchen Brand, partnered with Ignite Social Media and Carusele to create a year-long campaign that would raise awareness around the 100th anniversary of Pyrex and its celebratory initiatives. Throughout the campaign, our goals included organic content creation around the #Pyrex100 theme, hosting the 100 Days of Giveaways sweepstakes, and seeding content for the #RaiseYourGlassSweeps on Instagram and Twitter.
At the end of the day, we’re proud to work with so many amazing brands, and we’re even more excited to see what new opportunities lie ahead in 2017. In fact, YOU could be our next award-winning client. You’ll never know unless you reach out and say hi!
