The title of the webinar is – How to Start (or Reboot) Your Blog Right: 8 success factors that determine your blog’s future

Chris Garrett is long term blogger, the co author of the ProBlogger book and Chief Digital Officer at CopyBlogger Media.

Here’s a short description of what will be covered:

The world of blogging has gone mainstream, and this has introduced both opportunities and also challenges. Today you need more than passion and technical know-how, you need a plan.

How can you break through the noise and get started in 2014? If your blog is stumbling, how can you get it on the right track? In this webinar, Chris Garrett takes us back to fundamentals and talks us through the planning and research that lead him to his new forthcoming blog.

Normally our webinars are for paid up members of ProBlogger.com only but as this topic is so applicable to a wider audience we thought we’d open it up for free.

To register you’ll simply need to sign up for a free account to ProBlogger.com and register for the webinar.

Here’s the process:

1. Head to the webinar page here.

2. Click the ‘register’ button.

Can’t wait to see you in the webinar later this week!

Remember, we will record this for those unable to make the live webinar but you’ll need to register with the above process to gain access to it.

Note: your free account on ProBlogger.com only gives you access to upcoming the live ‘public’ webinars including one with Jeff Goins next month and one with Elise Cripe in December.

Paid up members also unlock a heap more in ProBlogger.com and gain access to recordings of all webinars (currently 31 in our archives), future monthly private webinars, our ProBlogger plugins, a private forum area etc.

  1. I registered for the Free Webinar; thinking it would be Tuesday evening (I’m in FL) but see it will begin Wednesday 10/29 at 11:00 am.

    I have a conflicting apt that morning;

IF I am correct; I understand I will be able to open the recorded Webinar to view later?

THANK YOU so very much for providing this great info; I have followed you; read books.

    Nancy

    • Hi Nancy – the webinar is at 11am Melbourne (Australia) time. But yes we will record it and send you a link if you’ve registered.

  2. Sounds like a plan. Long term blogging is always good because as search engines thrive off of content, blogger live off of earning money from ads on their blogs. Plain and simple.

  3. When it come to Indonesia ? :D hahaa

  4. Thank you so much Chris Garrett for the great info. Will register now! I really need this to my blog

  5. Hi Darren Rowse,

If we want to successful in Blogger need to make proper plan. Then only blogger can able to succeed the next level. I main thing is blogger should need passion for writing a blog.

  6. HI there,

I’ve registered for this webinair. You system shows I”m registered.

But I never got a confirmation email or a link to the webinair!

How do i join it? It starts in 2 mintues! HElp!

I’ve been trying to get in for 20 mintues. what to do?

    chers, Lash

    • Sorry Lash – we had a few technical issues yesterday with our system. We’ll post the recording shortly.

      • Hey Darren,

Sorry you had technical hiccups. That’s always frustrating.

Thanks for taking time to explain and apologize. Much appreciated.

Just a suggestion: maybe on future webinairs, since tech issues are common with those things, have a moderator on hand to handle peoples’ questions & comments?

There were at least a dozen of us trying to get into the webinair, asking what was going on and writing to different platforms trying to get an answer.

I, for one, would have really appreciated having someone there at the time to let us know there was a glitch. It would have felt a lot more professional to me and I could have gone off to do other things more quickly instead of feeling like we were all left hanging.

        Just a suggestion.

In any event, thanks for holding the webinair and for including unpaid members. Hopefully the next webinairs will go more smoothly.

I’ll go catch the recording when I have some time.

        Thanks for listening.

        Best regards, Lash

  7. Hello again,

the webinair is now live and I can’t see m to get in.

I can press the ‘join’ button the webinair page, but nothing happens. What do I need to do?

    Help!

    cheers, Lash

  8. Registered earlier today, but couldn’t access when the time came. I kept hitting the join button, but nothing. :-(

  9. I missed this, but I notice that you recorded it. Will I be able to register and listen now or would I have had to register ahead of time?

    Hi,

I had to miss the webinar due to the technical issues on the host side and was looking forward to seeing the recorded one. However, the link to the record doesn’t work since I am not “a member of community”. I just registered as a free member. While the live webinar last night, the speaker also mentioned on the discussion board that we all would have access to the recorded. How can I have access to the one without payment?

  11. I appreciate your effort. Thanks a lot for the info, would love to register.

My comment seems to disappear or be deleted, let me post it again.

So I and many of fellow readers of this community had technical issues so that we could not join the webinar. The speaker posted a comment on the discussion board that “everyone” can watch the recorded webinar. However, the link sent out today brought me to register as a paid member. I just registered as a free member only for this webinar. And neither of this blog post or the speaker’s comment mentioned we have to pay to get access to the recorded webinar. How can I watch the recorded webinar without paying a fee?

  13. I missed it. Let me go through the recordings.

  14. I really appreciated the information of the webinar
