Twitter confirmed a report by Re/code that vp of global business development and platform Jana Messerschmidt and vp of commerce Nathan Hubbard (pictured below, respectively) are leaving the company, and Jafari is taking over media, business development and Amplify.

Chief operating officer Adam Bain confirmed a report by Re/code that Jafari and Gnip CEO Chris Moody now report directly to Bain.

According to Re/code, Messerschmidt, who has been with Twitter for six years, is leaving on her own accord, and Hubbard plans to start his own company.
