Individually. I can tell you that my audience on Twitter is mostly male. I can tell you that they are generally over 35. If you grew up in a traditional marketing or pr or design field, you probably had the implications and research of demographics beat into your head. The conversation took place elsewhere: Sometimes, instead of commenting on a blog post, people will choose to engage on another outpost, Facebook or Twitter for example.
