For quite some time Tweetdeck was my preferred choice when it came to social media management software. And for awhile Tweetdeck was meeting my needs, but I just grew increasingly more frustrated with performance issues with the Adobe Air platform. It certainly doesn’t suffer from the slow downs I experienced with Tweetdeck.

I want to be able to use DMs in Twitter, but really it’s such a vast wasteland of spam that it’s practically impossible to do. What I fail to understand is that after years of being in existence, how is it that Twitter has failed to deliver absolutely nothing in the form of spam control or filtering for DMs.

Tweetdeck – I know most of those reading will know of Tweetdeck, but I have to add this to my list as I’ve tried practically all of the different Twitter apps, and in my opinion Tweetdeck just seems to work out the best. However when it comes to a mobile Twitter app see #7. very useful.
