September Social Trends

It’s the end of Summer and time to get back into the swing of things, ready for the end of the year armed with September social trends.

Battle of the Brands to Joining of the Brands

It’s no news that fast food brands like to take the gloves off on social media and this past month gave way to the battle of the chicken sandwich between Popeye’s and…everyone else. This is not really a new trend for September but, we saw also saw the flip side with Burger King and McDonald’s coming together to fight cancer.

Snapchat Announces New Ad Formats and Length Limits

Still hanging in there, Snapchat is adjusting their ads to show their platform can be a driver for customer action. Their new ads were designed to make the most of the audience’s attention and give marketers advanced options. The update could allow for up to 3 minutes in select formats, an upgrade from the 10 second limit.

Pinterest Shoppable Post Format Updates

With an expansion to their shoppable post format in paid ads, Pinterest is allowing businesses to show multiple items for purchase with each Pin. The new capacity will let advertisers tag up to 25 items in a Pin, with a preview showing 4 of those times.

Heading into the fall, be certain to keep up on the latest and greatest in Social Media to make sure you end of the year campaigns deliver the best results.
