Recently the topic of syndicating content came up in conversation. You see, lots of bloggers have their blog posts syndicated on other sites that aggregate content, and sometimes we write posts specific to a site just to get our names in front of more readers who frequent that particular web site. Really it boils down to three things.

Am I talking to myself over here? My Feedburner saga

Now, this blog is syndicated on several sites and I send the RSS feed to Triberr and quite a few other places and they seemed to be getting the feed, so what gives? But I never really got around to updating my own blogs until yesterday, when I realized two of them were no longer working. That’s the thing. There’s nobody to ask.

Google+ and World Domination

Adding the “ Authorship&# tag &# to syndicated posts will allow users to follow specific authors and list your content on the +1 tab of your Google profile. Which of course means you’ve got to have a Google profile.

Make sure you add links to your other networks, your blog and your syndicated content ( here’s how ). Your profile is going to list your +1′s, posts on Google+ and more soon we don’t know about yet. Fill out your about section. If you don’t have any, turn them off until you do.
