Interview people you meet via social media. Social media is a microcosm of the real world. Get to as many industry events as possible and socially network in real life. I f you build it, they will, well, probably go somewhere else. Your target audience probably doesn’t share the same level of enthusiasm that you have toward your new website/redesign/mobile app/digital venture. More More than likely, they won’t even notice.  But your target audience almost definitely won’t just come to your website because it happens to be there. [Social Media] Teaching Silos to Learn
I am going to go out on a limb and suggest that it is possible that you might have heard about a new book out called Open Community … Okay if you’re reading this blog (and probably most of the other blogs you read), you’ve obviously heard about it quite a bit, but I wanted to zero in on the second chapter of the book, since it is all about the topic I write about here: the social organization. And depending on how active your open community is, the same could be true if your social media team tries to break down the silos. AT THE SAME TIME!
