    Almost every business owner I know has struggled with marketing, and usually its because they’ve are so focused on the tools of marketing (social media, website, brochures, etc) that they haven’t worked on the core of their marketing, which is actually the message.     This one I feel comfortable selling, probably because of my social media work. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been approached by people to sell a service or product they have. Most times its an MLM product where if I become a sales person they get some of the proceeds of my sales because they found me and got me recruited. That, in and of itself, turns me off, because it really amounts to someone profiting off my efforts, and really only wanting me to sell something because they know they’ll profit. That profit may not even be a percentage of my sales.
