Social technologies make syndication and aggregation simple. Keep your #s, @s and RTs where they belong - on Twitter. Its annoying. Am I alone here? Thank you. Meg: Thanks!

SMS – Yes, Facebook Has This, Too. Facebook Places is the latest and greatest service offered by Facebook that has many Brands raging around how to build a strategy. Never has the advertiser or brand had so many options as they do now on Facebook to target demographic, interested parties, that you can now actually track whether they’ve been to your physical location!  My good friend, Jolie O’Dell of Mashable , wrote a great post on the American Express Open Forum last week on “How SMBs Can Start Using Facebook Places Now&#. Here’s why it’s powerful.

[SMS] Snapchat – Proof That Simplicity & Authenticity Wins
Since the mid-90s, SMS has been seen the same way, with mostly the UI advancing. Snapchat has 100 million daily users , 9,000 snaps are shared per second , 10 billion videos are viewed per day and at 500 million Snapchat stories per day, it would take more than 158 years to watch an entire day of Snapchat stories. It’s no wonder that advertisers want a bite of it. CEO Evan Spiegel describes Snapchat’s messaging as “conversational”, rather than “transactional”, which gives the impression you’re just talking to a friend. Maybe it’s time for an overhaul. Here & Now. The Drivers.
