Lately I’ve been noticing some impressive Pinterest link counts in the linking domains report under “Links to Your Sites.”

Today I thought I’d check to see just how many news and content sites are among the top 500 pages on Google+. For the purposes of this exercise I counted traditional news organizations, lifestyle publications, Web-only news and content sites and broadcast channels/programs with a companion site. Foursquare and The New York Times Archive Would Be a Great Match

What else can news sites do with Foursquare and other forms of location-based social media? Foursquare users in Vancouver will have access to reviews, tips and recommendations provided by NYT travel and entertainment writers.
