Anyone who knows AdAge that the list was based on, knows that standings go up and down like a bride’s nightie depending on whether technorati is working etc. This starts a phase where he continually refers to me as an “academic&# – not a practicing social network strategist but someone in an ivory tower I guess.

Just one thing, I guess – something I have experienced recently – leaving a comment under your post with seemingly genuine interest in one’s site/post itself, but actually referring to your own post/blog or even pasting url in. That is *exactly* the “infraction&# I refer to.
