For quite some time Tweetdeck was my preferred choice when it came to social media management software. I’ve typically chosen software based solutions over web based ones for speed and performance when it comes to high touch computing. They aren’t built or designed for productivity and that’s where I started to feel hampered by the iPhone. Another reason I grew increasingly frustrated with my iPhone was the lack of control over the software. It truly feels like I can accomplish more and use the phone more then I did with the iPhone. The Flexibility.

Use a 3rd party Twitter software solution. It’s great software, works on Windows and Mac, and they recently updated with some great new features. There are many users that think using automated software is evil, spammy, etc. Of course many won’t care at all. Don’t take my word for it.
