This is optional, but recommended to check Anchor text, Page rank, Number of outbound links, Availability of the page, Presence of meta tags “nofollow” and “noindex” etc.

To quickly determine if a link is dofollow or nofollow, you can install the Chrome Nofollow extension, which will highlight all nofollow links. Whenever you come to a site that links out to external sources with nofollow links, it will look like in the screenshot below. Meta nofollow. Meta noindex.
