#AgencyLife: Firebelly's Favorite Social Media Accounts

Favorite social media accounts

It may come as no surprise that the Firebelly team loves social media! We eat, sleep and breathe it. We love using it for business and pleasure. Here are some of our favorite social media accounts that we are currently following.

Duncan Alney

@thedailyjames

@thedailyjames

Instagram
@thedailyjames: LouAnne is a visionary in the urban wildlife space. She exemplifies thoughtful content and gorgeous photography – while building layered characters for the birds and animals she features. And importantly, she responds with great details to all the questions (and she gets a lot of them).

@barackobama: I love this because its hip, inspirational and what I expect from a leader – not just of the USA but a global leader and visionary. Aside from politics, Barack is human first in his approach.

Instagram & Facebook
@asmakhanlondon: Asma is my friend from school in India who is the first British chef to be featured on Chef’s Table, has a recipe book, and uses food to empower women and for social justice. I am very emotionally involved with her work and her brand.

Chad Richards

Aside from our own channels and those of our clients (which are obviously amazing) here are a few of the accounts I’m always happy to see come across my feed.

@moment

@moment

Instagram
@moment: I’m a big fan of this brand—their iPhone cases, lenses and accessories to up your photography game. I like the tips and tutorials they share, as well as seeing the stunning photos from other creators.

Twitter
@adweak: Relatable AF with tweets like “BREAKING: Consumers On Social Media Hoping Brands Remind Them To Remember Their Loved Ones On Memorial Day And That They Have A Sale Going On” and “BREAKING: Agency Social Team Way Too Excited To Inform Client They Gained 14 New Twitter Followers.”

YouTube
Barcroft TV: I can’t seem to get enough of their interesting slice of life videos like “I Believe I’m A Real Life Mermaid,” “We Were Boyfriends, Now We’re Girlfriends” and “The Woman With The 150 Pound Leg.” Despite some laughable headlines, many of the videos do genuinely feature people overcoming major obstacles.

Lauren Johnson

Although I love all social channels for different reasons, Instagram is my main squeeze. So I wanted to share some of my favorite social media accounts on this channel with you all.

@verdonfoseelegacy

@verdonfoseelegacy

@verdonfoseelegacy: Dance is life and the choreography of Bob Fosse and Gwen Verndon has been my favorite since I was a little girl! Seeing Fosse the musical on Broadway was one of the best experiences of my life. So, safe to say, this account is my happy place.

@middleclassfancy: This one makes me LOL, I just love seeing what the Nance’s of the world are getting themselves in to.

@doggosdoingthings: I mean is there anything better for the soul than watching dogs doing dog things? Really I love all accounts about dogs, cats, horses, pigs (you get the picture).

@lisafrank: This is to appease my inner child, she would live in a Lisa Frank world if she could! #queenofcolor

@halloweencountdown & @christmascountdown: I absolutely love the holidays and these accounts let me live in the spirit of Halloween and Christmas all year round.  That and the images are stunning especially for the @thehalloweencountdown.

Taylor Carlier

Like Lauren, all of my favorites are on Instagram too.

@adellbridges

@adellbridges

@adellbridges: I’m a newbie to yoga, and Adell has the most beautiful practice. I follow her to make myself feel bad about what I look like when I practice yoga, it’s great motivation.

@averagefashionblogger: Maybe the funniest person on Instagram, she pretends she is an influencer in her sweats and crocs. If you want to cry laugh every day, follow her.

@acouplecooks: This is my follow for healthy recipes & they just so happen to live in Indy! Their food photography makes everything look so yummy to eat, I just wish they would come over and make it all for me!

@justmyenneatype: I’ve been studying the enneagram for the past couple of years. This is the only enneagram Instagram account I’ve found that takes deeper dives into the numbers, triads, instincts, etc. in digestible bites. Less about funny memes, and more self-discovery here!

@lavenderslongshot: Another local Indy account, LeAnne Lavender has a great green thumb. She is my gardening and plant inspo for beginners like myself. And, her husband and her are just a fun follow for their stories & life adventures.

Kelly Perigo

@dottiecouturebtq

@dottiecouturebtq

Instagram
@dottiecouturebtq: Mainly for their stories. I love seeing the sneak peek of new arrivals.

Facebook
IndyStar: Mainly for the comments.

Tasty: Because I’m a visual learner, so I love seeing how they create some delicious recipes and having a video to reference when I make it myself.

Twitter
@NPR: They share all types of news like how staring down seagulls can help deter them from stealing your food.

Tatiana Blanco

I like to bounce around my three favorite platforms: Instagram, Pinterest and Youtube. Here are my favorite accounts on each one.

@halfbakedharvest

@halfbakedharvest

Instagram
@HalfBakedHarvest: My cooking dream! She makes incredible dishes and then photographs them in such a beautiful way. Love just scrolling through her page.

@TheLeslieJordan: Hilarious! My sister shared his account with me during quarantine and it was the best thing ever. He rants, sings, dances and tells the best stories from his past.

@Goodnews_Movement: An uplifting account that shares good news and beautiful stories from around the world. If you are looking for a feel-good account definitely give them a follow.

Pinterest
Jen Coleman of Ascot + Hart: She has my favorite sense of style when it comes to home design and is always pinning really cool images that inspire me.

YouTube
Architectural Digest: They have a series where they take you inside celebrities' homes, like Cribs but elevated. I could watch these all day!
