For your blog, any URL will do, and if you are writing for a blog with multiple authors, FriendFeed parses through the authors and only features blog posts written by you. I have my Google reader shared URL, set up as a Yahoo Alert. What I do to filter ALL of the info, is subscribe to specifc FF feeds via Google Reader. Answers Yahoo!

For example, if I want to leave a lot of blog comments, it’s going to be a hassle to constantly type in my name, email, and URL. It also has a lot of neat search features as well so to search Youtube I could just type yt search phrase and that would take me to Youtube with the search results displayed. No problem.
