Probably my biggest issue is that for whatever reason--still not sure why--Ive had the various tools of my learning scattered all over the place. Im OK with the lower case "personal learning environment"--in fact, Id prefer to avoid having some kind of learning tool imposed on me. So my first step was to head back over.

It explains the concept of a personal learning environment and it also describes and demonstrates how to use a number of different tools. Start Introducing the Tools Yesterday I said that I believe in the idea of small pieces, loosely joined. The 23 Things series Web 2.0 Mine is here. That really defeats the purpose.

The differing viewpoints of PLEs are reflective of infancy of the concept, and the practical applications of the read/write web itself.
