I also liked their take that reach is dropping because mobile usage is up. As you probably noticed on your smart phone, you see a lot less Facebook posts on your mobile than you do on your desktop. There fore less posts are viewed by the mobile user and reach drops.

When an application like Hootsuite, Tweetdeck or a mobile Twitter app like Tweetbot checks your account on Twitter, it’s what is called an “API Call” This does NOT include the number of messages you send through these tools, only the number of times the tool hits the Twitter server to check for more. So who cares?

In a nutshell, Evernote lets you add information to a database that is accessible through the web, a desktop app, and your iPhone, or smart phone.
