I recently read an interesting article on The Guardian about Microsoft releasing apps for the iPad. The Guardian article points out several times that Microsoft’s biggest driver behind any play here would be revenue. This is the model Microsoft needs to follow. Still, it’s better than nothing.

Currently that order looks like this: Google Yahoo Microsoft Ask AOL One thing to remember is that Google has partnership agreements with Ask, AoL, iWon, and Netscape. is the only search engine that still does paid inclusion for their search engine.
