Sure, there might not be a lot of people in your target market there unless they too are early adopters, but like the early days of any social media network, the early adopter has the advantage over those who wait to learn it when they suddenly need it. Should I be using App.net? Mac Desktop. At the moment Wedge is my favorite.

A page doesn’t get notifications by email, text or in the Google+ bar, so it’s hard to keep on top of your discussions. They participated in the land rush to get their Google+ pages defined and then many of them went right back to traditional marketing methods. There are so many things business page can’t do yet.

If you’re good with using only the wall on your Facebook page, this might still work for you, but one of the ways Facebook has Google+ totally beat is the many ways you can interact with your followers.
