Social Media MarketingJust in case you missed it…Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter recently announced important new updates that are taking effect right now.

Here’s EVERYTHING you need to know to make sure your profiles are updated CORRECTLY and continue to drive business with no hiatus:

Facebook Update: New Layout for Business Pages

Business Pages are getting a completely new design which is more streamlined, consistent with the Facebook Personal Profile. Facebook Page admins will see a notice in their Admin Panel with an “Update” notice. Take a look at the new page layout.

Linkedin Update: Product and Services Page Removed

On April 14 the Linkedin Products & Services Tab was removed from LinkedIn Company Pages! In its place, Linkedin is recommending two alternatives to share information on your products and services.  But this also means the important Customer Recommendations on these pages are gone! If you were caught off guard, you can read more about how to get them back.

Twitter Update: Twitter Rolls Out New Profile Redesign

Over the next few weeks, when you log into your Twitter account and see your profile page has been replaced with the new page design, you will know you have been upgraded! Don’t panic — your current profile picture and header image will automatically be resized to fit the new dimensions. Check out the new layout!

So don’t be caught unprepared! I suggest while you wait for these new changes to hit your page, start experimenting with Twitter and Facebook new Header and Profile photos so you can swap them out quickly and carry on with business as usual!
