First, I had an iPad and then eventually switched to an ASUS Transformer as my primary gadget. desktop facebook on ipad - Nope. But what about iPad users? But don’t lose hope iPad users. What you can do is download Chrome for the iPad and the “Request Desktop Site” link exists in the iPad app, as well.

Social Media is ubiquitous. If you don’t know what that means, it means that everywhere you turn, social media is there. Because we are becoming an “always on” society and are never more than 3 steps from our mobile devices and computers, social is invading everything we do. Trust me, I tried.

Social media and social networking are both about connecting people. Without people and their personal relationship information, social media sites like Facebook and Twitter would be reduced to…well…MySpace. Recently, I have been having issues with my iPad. Those people. Deleting my post!

For instance, a while back I wanted to view Twitter.com on my iPad, but Safari kept sending me to the Twitter mobile site, which was NOT the view I wanted. desktop view of Twitter on ipad. By helping people learn how to switch their Twitter view from mobile to desktop on their iPads and tablets, I increased traffic to my blog.

Those of us who are active with blogs, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Email , Farmville, whatever…sometimes need to just turn off the computer, power down the iPad, and hide the phone. Our addiction to social media is at epic proportions and we often sacrifice our quality time with family in lieu of online time with friends.

Yes…I have a little angst with iOS 5 and the fact that it crashes my iPad all the time) Google Plus Your World Now Displays Content From All Your Social Networks.As I work in social media every day and very few social media pros that I know are actually recommending Google+ to their clients.

If I just spout out statements like “Facebook announces that it’s going to buy Twitter” or “Apple is discontinuing the iPad 1 due to iOS 5 crashes”, I might generate a bunch of SEO traffic and boost my readership, but what value did I actually provide to my readers by publishing unsupported facts?
