It retails new for $449 and Amazon sells it for 16% less. Some people suggested I get an iPad but that was an illogical decision for me unless I also had an iPhone. Why the Kindle Fire is Not For Me

It isn’t a perfect experience, but if nothing else it’s a promising look into the future of retail commerce. Where would a Kindle, or a Nook, or an iPad even, fit into my world of technology? I am typing this sentence on an iMac. I also own a smartphone. To replace the netbook?
