After updating my iPad to iOS 5, I converted my previously bulletproof tablet to a hunk of junk that crashed almost every time I loaded up Mail, Safari, StumbleUpon and EverNote. Basically, everything I loved about my iPad had crashed and burned…and my faith in Apple was shaken. I just updated my iPad to iOS 5.0.1

For instance, a while back I wanted to view Twitter.com on my iPad, but Safari kept sending me to the Twitter mobile site, which was NOT the view I wanted. desktop view of Twitter on ipad. Recently, I have been having issues with my iPad. I upgraded to iOS 5 and it turned my iPad 1 into a giant crashing brick. The leaking of these social media policies also explained why my post detailing my issues with the iPad and iOS 5 was deleted from the Apple support forums. It explained a lot to me, though.
