Smaller companies could succeed with this method by marketing — verbally or through their website — to groups of devout followers and keeping their Twitter streams current (offering a daily deal or frequent deals that encourage customers to seek out discounts and sales). Typically, a fair portion of the class involves group work and some interactive elements — we’ve had discussions, card games, Jeopardy, chart-making, a range of Montessori activities, videos, song-writing and much more. As social media moves into the common marketing vernacular, more people will start drawing these comparisons.
