How secure should I feel when using Facebook’s privacy settings to determine which groups of friends can or cannot see particular photos? Facebook while I do use it for business, I am more social with my various groups than on LinkedIn. WP, HuffPo etal–be careful what you post if it’s not business related etc.

Participate in local and industry-specific networking groups. It’s amazing what opportunities you can find in other industries that require the same work… but under a different name! Focus on skills and opportunities, not job titles. These are a wonderful source of support and career-related resources.

When I do large group meetings I simply put my email on the overhead. I’d imagine that you primarily deal with a very tech savvy group who are comfortable with your approach. I carry a Blackjack which I record something if I need to. If I meet someone new I record email or twitter etc.
