There’s been a lot of noise about Google+. Personally I’ve got a love/hate relationship with Google+. It’s Twitter on steroids. The user interface is getting better but it’s still painful to get in and out unlike sites like Twitter and Facebook which are very manageable through 3rd party apps.

I saw a message on Google+ yesterday from the-ever on top of the newest app-Louis Gray that made me cringe. Basically it allows you to invite your entire Facebook friends list to Google+. I don’t want all my connections on Google+ yet, maybe ever. Here’s what I love about Google+.

Adding the “ Authorship&# tag &# to syndicated posts will allow users to follow specific authors and list your content on the +1 tab of your Google profile.

Hashtags, the Good the Bad, the Oh So Ugly

I stuck to Twitter posts simply because they’re easier to embed, but most or all of these hashtags appear across social platforms. Probably the most recent oops was #AskThicke which was intended to be a Twitter style Q&A but quickly became a platform to call him out about misogyny, divorce, his hair and his music among other things.
