Google Reader. Google Reader constantly checks your favorite news sites and blogs for new content.

I use Google Chrome for somethings but you can’t beat FireFox’s massive line up of plug-ins. TweetDeck – The multiple columns of TweetDeck make it so easy to sort and follow people that without it Twitter gets difficult to manage at times. I open 2 FireFox windows, TweetDeck , and Foobar.

I went into my Google reader and deleted every blog that hadn’t posted within the last 30 days. When you get great ideas for blog posts write the titles in your WordPress (please tell me you use WordPress) dashboard and then you can go back to them later and write them up. Tweetdeck , Seesmic or Hootsuite.

Tweetdeck If you’re using Twitter in any way to build your personal brand or business, then Tweetdeck will help keep you organised. Not only does Tweetdeck keep things organised, but it also makes it very fast to message people and retweet good content. You can never have too many backups.

The Twitter integration in Netvibes actually includes the very same functionality of Tweetdeck. I use Google Reader to read my fave blogs.

Twitter Tweetdeck I use Tweetdeck for serious twitter sessions. It doesn’t have the advanced functionality of Tweetdeck (such as cross-posting to Facebook), but it’s so easy-to-use that it’s my favorite Twitter app. WordPress The WordPress iPhone app is slick.
