Klout just keeps getting better. Among the services that Klout now tracks are: Tumblr – A blogging platform somewhat like a cross between Twitter and Blogger. Foursquare – The local networking website. In all, Klout is now measuring your influence across ten different social networks. What about you?

Klout bills itself as a social media influence metric, but until now it was largely limited in how it measured influence. Moments is something like the Facebook Timeline, but it takes “your most important content” from all of the networks Klout measures and adds it to your profile. I actually rather like this idea.

Like a lot of people, I’m registered on both Klout and Peerindex , which both attempt to track my online influence in slightly different ways to give one overall score which can be compared to others in my areas of interest. So are you on Klout, Peerindex and Empire Avenue? Measuring influence or just tracking loyalty?

Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter Facebook, Vine, Foursquare, Klout – you name it, they want it. For the last few months, I think I’ve spent more time talking people out of using social media than talking them into it. The pendulum has swung the other way, especially in the marketing industry.
