For example, the benefit of using a professional tool such as Alterian SM2 is that it shows the distribution of conversations across all channels. Utilize sites such as YouTube, Slideshare and Flickr to create channels for your content. Each can be drilled into and examined in detail. Influencer identification. So why bother?

To be fair, I’ve only included those I’ve actually used (Radian6, Sysomos, Spiral 16) or tested (Meltwater, SM2). I'm currently using SM2 for most of my clients, and like how easy it is to use. On your chart, you show that SM2 can get down to the state level on the geographic filter. I do have a question for you though.
