I went into my Google reader and deleted every blog that hadn’t posted within the last 30 days. Hootsuite works well for this too. Tweetdeck , Seesmic or Hootsuite. I heard this on Sunday and so just for fun I filtered every one of the newsletters and rss feeds that I never even bother to scan into a mailbox.

Another great (free) Google product that you can use to have content delivered to you is Google Reader. Google Reader allows you subscribe to RSS feeds across the web. Hootsuite is another site that facilitates posting to multiples sites at once and also allows you to schedule future posts.

You can see how many people are subscribing to your RSS feed and from which sources, and if you use the new Google Analytics integration, you can see how many clicks each individual post is getting from feed readers. I tweet more frequently too, using HootSuite (my favorite Twitter application by far) to schedule tweets down the road. HootSuite puts all the accounts in one single interface (you can do the same with TweetDeck and Seesmic, I believe), but in terms of passwords, I usually use KeePass to store them with other relevant account information.
