Paraphrasing their own words, the usage of Reader is smaller than ever, and Google want to focus on fewer products. Google are going a terrible job of it.

Overall Traffic Visits : 38,444 Pageviews : 67,191 Avg time on Site : 2 mins 29 seconds Despite only writing four blog posts – and none at all last week – the site still received just less than 40,000 visits and almost 70,000 pageviews.

You need to provide access to your list’s current home – mine was at Feedburner so I had to provide my Google email/password. Set up the Mail Opt-in Form on Your Site. Thanks to all of you who have helped the site become what it is in such a short time. Avg time on Site : 2 mins 22 seconds. Last month was the best traffic month ever for the site, and even with fewer posts, the site only had 3,000 less visits. Google (organic): 7,552. Overall Traffic. Visits : 45,243.

Last week I tweeted that I’d not checked my Google Reader account in a month. RSS does continue to drive traffic (at least, my Feedburner stats seem to indicate that) but as I look at my own statistics to see where people are arriving on my sites from, the percentage of those coming from RSS/Feedburner seems to be on the decline.
