Another strange one is the fact that Facebook loves to show you the “Top Stories” that it thinks are important in your life and while that works for some, there are those of us who prefer to see our feeds in chronological order. Let’s start with the easy answer of how to share a tweet from Twitter to your LinkedIn feed. Just because it’s “out there” and someone else has shared it doesn’t mean you can’t get in trouble sharing it to your social feeds. You will have successfully shared a Twitter image to your LinkedIn feed.

What I found was that I can still leverage IFTTT and the Twitter RSS feeds, to do what I wanted. I simply created the RSS search query that I wanted to feed into LinkedIn and then used the RSS to LinkedIn service on IFTT and presto-change-o… my tweets are once again being posted to LinkedIn. Start with getting your RSS feed.

Before we get to the tactic, I want to make sure you understand the value of an RSS feed. They can subscribe to your RSS feed and receive updates of new articles via email, via mobile apps like FlipBoard or via popular RSS readers like NewsBlur. For these folks, you need to give them an easy way to find the URL of your RSS feed.
