PostRank – This nifty plugin rates your posts on engagement, sharing and some other variables and was recently acquired by Google. It keeps everything in a nice clean template and is updated when a new player comes to the space. It also asks folks if they would like to subscribe to your RSS feed.

Be sure to list your new blog URL as well as your new RSS feed URL in that post so people can subscribe easily to your new site or visit it directly. It does require a different type of coding skill (if you are used to just modifying templates with PHP, you will also have to learn the hooks system).
