You see them on Twitter all the time: Tweets automatically posted from Instagram that reference a picture but don’t actually show the picture in the Tweet. In fact, it’s pretty easy to set up your Instagram accounts so that every post automatically to Twitter and Facebook. Simply crediting the original poster is not enough.

For other platforms such as Twitter and Instagram, you will need to do more manual work to identify and build a list of top followers. If you follow a certain visual aesthetic with your posts, for example, you will want to find UGC that fits your brand’s feed. Accepted badges are then visible in the Community tab of the Page.

Right now, unlike Facebook and Twitter, Instagram doesn’t tag the original poster when you share their post to your story. In this case, it shows good social media manners to add a text box to tag the original poster. Be selective about which ones you share so that your stories don’t just duplicate your regular feed.

It integrates with Twitter, which was the first reason I took to it. So when I post to Amplify, it posts to Twitter as well (assuming I’ve set up the sync) – and I can post to as many Twitter accounts as I like. I know we can do that for Twitter through HootSuite, etc., It’s easy. Can you say OMIGOD?!
