Updating Facebook from third parties like Tweetdeck? Despite its shortcomings (and there are many), Twitter is easy to use, and from a personal view it seems to hold fewer privacy risks than Facebook and location-based apps. Tagging people with @ within status updates? Posting to Twitter directly from Facebook? Content is king, agreed.
