I guess I look at 'status' as a standard and one that twitter owns and Facebook and LinkedIn stole. Selective Tweets or only posting certain tweets to FB via Tweetdeck etc is a great way to integrate but not alienate. Time decay: The newer the content, the more likely it will show up in your news feed. Like I pointed out above, if your content gets a low score, it may not even show up in the Recent News feed. So what you need to do is optimize your news feed. Some people think TweetDeck is better than HootSuite, but I disagree.
