A page doesn’t get notifications by email, text or in the Google+ bar, so it’s hard to keep on top of your discussions. The only way to know if your page has new comments is to browse the feed for the page. Unless you’re a big brand with Google Direct Connect you don’t own the page name. Apply here.

Sometimes the feed would work, sometimes it would appear to be empty. Once Google took it over it just wasn’t reliable. So we moved some client sites to Feedblitz , others decided to use WordPress’s free built in RSS feed tool. Even if your Feedburner stats say your feed has 0 subscribers DON”T DELETE IT yet.

People are migrating to Google plus now that it’s open and even though that interface just got a whole slew of new features it’s still got a long way to go to be useable for Facebook’s typical user base. Okay FB, I don’t need your “help” with categorizing news feeds and creating lists. The Ticker.

In February Google rolled out an update to their algorithms likely directed at sites that duplicate content for article marketing as well as those that “spin&# articles (replacing phrases and words so they aren’t exact duplicates and then posting to article hosting sites). Check your site against Google’s quality guidelines.

It varies a lot sometimes it’s a shared Google spreadsheet or a literal calendar on a whiteboard. The remaining 25% can be about you, though it still should be useful and valuable information not canned marketing speak, and that 25% can certainly be planned out in a content calendar! What does a content calendar look like? Bottom line?
