Step Four: Detach Yourself from Feedburner. It’s a shame that the efforts of whoever built Please Don’t Kill Feedburner don’t seem to be paying off, as I really think the service is on its last legs. That’s soon going to change though with the huge losses in subscriber counts coming from the closure of Reader.

Does anyone else share my same frustration or is it not really an issue for you? It's very frustrating to click on something and then be taken away from the original site you were viewing - PLUS, as a business, why would you want people to stray away from your site and not be able to easily jump back??

When I came to the realization that I wanted this type of an RSS feed, I thought “Super, I’ll use Yahoo Pipes.&# That didn’t pan out so well, however, as some of the feeds I wanted to use didn’t work with their system. If I ever do get it to work, or they fix the issues I’ve been having in the upcoming 2.0

Feedburner is so erratic that I just can’t take it that seriously anymore. If you’re reading this in a feed reader or inbox, thanks for subscribing! Subscriber Stats. Despite the current flaws in the system, I will continue to report on the numbers that it gives me. Personal Update.

Subscriber Stats I really don’t know if I should continue reporting on Feedburner as the count is just far too erratic. Every day the figure fluctuates by thousands of readers, going as low as 4,000 to as high as 12,000. But with Feedburner, who knows. Yup you are right about the feedburner stats.
