Measuring the number of fans/followers is the least labor intensive metric on this list. To show a long-term value, tie these fixes to the amount of money and time saved in troubleshooting these issues or developing new features that customers are looking for. Facebook provides this data under the site’s Insights function.

In fact, we tend to hyper-focus and agonize over these features, leaving the other senses like smell in the dust. The list of emotions goes on and on, more so than any of the other senses. In terms of building the brand experience, we tend to think of sight or sound first as the more important pieces to our marketing plans.
